 American Presidents in Hungary – Photo Exhibition

Presenting some unusual media perspectives, this event was focusing on American presidents visiting Hungary during the past few decades. The exhibition was organized by the Communication and Media Studies Department in cooperation with the American Corner Office in Pécs.

 Illustrator Buddies (in Hungarian Illusztrátor Pajtások) is a contemporary art team. Their first thematic exhibition in Pécs, which was focusing on the theme of the robot, was organized in cooperation with the Communication and Media Studies Department in Zsolnay Cultural District.

Exhibition and Journal premier at Re:public Gallery

Varga Gabi’s exhibition “Overdose” was opened at 5pm in Re:public Gallery. Following this event, the premier of the latest issue of Lettre Internationale took place in the same building.

December Book Launch

Program:

On 6th December, 2012 at 6 pm the Communication- and Media Department of Pécs and the Artistic Workboard of the Linguistic and Literature Board of PAB held their traditional event, the “Book Review of December” which took place in the building of the Faculty of Humanities in Zsolnay Cultural Quarter. During the evening lately released books were introduced which are part of the Communication- and Cultural Studies Series of Publisher ‘Gondolat’. After the opening speech of Colin Foster, Dean of the Faculty of Music and Visual Arts, the volumes were introduced by Gábor Berényi, head editor of the Publisher ‘Gondolat’
